DMCA applies to United States, so ALL companies within the country will respond to a DMCA takedown notice.

And if your server contains DMAP files from the tq client (which it almost certainly does) then they are correct in following the takedown notice.

European countries have similar provisions in their law usually.

You will need to pay extra money for an "unrestricted server".

Now if you were to make your own reverse engineered map files, and use them instead, and not provide a client download on the server, then the server would contain no TQ code or data, and you might be able to send a counter notice.

Tq at the most sends out cease and desist letters. I've not heard of them doing anything as official as a dmca complaint.
