Cabal8 PRIVATE SERVER: *un*Official Start-up Guide

Ok if yall are trying to make it work and just can't do, then this guide might help you!

Ok first off

1. download this chinese client [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

2. download this patch [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] Alternative Link: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

3. then download my Translation Patch [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

4. and last but not least download all these Updates in order

OK now to Install everything and get it working :D

Ok install the Cabal Client, next install all of those updates in #4 in order, then you copy and paste the extracted files of the #2 patch into the cabal folder


Now that we got that down it is time to register !
go to this link [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

enter your username in the first box, password in second box, and re-enter pass in third box.
next press the button, and if it gives you a happy face, then your account was created :)

Next we start the game and login and accept the users agreement. and once you log in, exit the game.

Ok now you can get the data folder in the English patch I made and paste it into you cabal folder~if it asks you to overwrite clik yes


Ok everything should be good now! your quests,the npcs, the skills, and the items are all english now!

Q. Why is everything sooooooooooo laggy?
A. your computer sucks(lol jk) but mine runs really good and i live in the US XD

Q.I can't Press anything for the user's agreement!
A. you have to use the english Patch at the end

Q. why wont it let me login?!?!
A. You either never saw a happy face on the registration page or you installed the patches in the wrong order.

Q. I can't get passed the User agreement after i used the english patch????

I prefer to leave old agrement.log with this chinese words :X when i get it from your patch i cant go to choose channels menu.

i got prob with filefront -.-" it says " There's no server you can download.Please click HERE to go to the download page " wtf -.-

I did all... then i open, then it loads.. and then shuts off... i unistalled 2 times..... still same!! :'( whyyyyyyyyyy!!!! Like after that loading nothing happens and just shuts off....

same problems... i've patched right and after the loading nothing happens and shuts off

ppl i have a problem.
The game closes it self after the first loading screen (the black one with the cabal logo in chinese). I can't see the login windows because the game shuts off.
Any suggestion how to solve it?
Any help would be appreciated

can anyone has a tutorial how to change this chinese server's language to english language because im not really onto the chinese thing i cant read them nor write them i barely need it if someone knows please help me ^_^
