[Question] To Castor

Ok in a previous post i had asked if i could set the glow to different weapons.
Well i had changed them and now i end up getting different weapons then what they should be.
Was just wondering what caused the mix up of weapons.
Thought i could add the glow to the weapons i wanted but maybe not.
And if there is a way to add the glow to the proper weapons.
Cause some of them are working just fine but then some others are giving me the in proper weapon then it should it won't be to hard to revert back to the way they were previously.
Was just curious.

When ya get this any help would be appreciated.

Might not be right here... but check if your 3dc's and dds are matched for each of those weapons you tried to change the glow of... i had a problem liek that, with my dual swords showing as dual axes and vice versa :)

Have you tried to do it without the tool?

If you crack open the files, it is pretty easy to do. I can update later with the specific field that needs to be changed.

Yeah that would help greatly if ya would cause some of them that i edited work fine. Others didn't work correctly so was just kinda curious as to why.

Define them in the character/human/xx model list

add them to that, with the 3DC and they should appear for you in game

Ok so reading all of this I do have 1 question pertaining to the glow. Say I just want to change the glow on a weapon that currently has one i.e. Goddess Harupeons. Would I be able to change the glow through the Effect -> DDS folder or with your tool? Because I have searched & edited so many of those DDS files in the effect and can not figure out which one changes the glow on the weapon. Though I will attempt it with the tool, I still would like to know if I can do it without using it.

I was looking mainly at say the fire effects in the DDS folder but wasn't entirely sure. But when you asked in how I want to change the glow, I may have only have asked half the question. I would say both the fire glow that emits from the weapon (Not enchanted) & I would like to change the glow (when it is enchanted). But thanks for being so specific in defining and answering my question in such a timely matter.

Edit* Basically want to take that red smoke on the unenchanted goddess weapon and make it black/gray. So would that be the SmokeRed00 DDS file or Smoker? Or I could be wrong on both accounts lol.

the ele glows are located in the game.exe(I know that from what I was told about how ec did it for X)
I'm not quite sure how to edit these as I have never even looked into it lol.
As for the enchant glows I'm guessing they are in the same place? Not sure D:

Yuh like I said I'm not fully sure about it lol
Never messed with it *shrug* that's just what I remember being told.
