Is VISTA OS able to run a pserver?

can I with Vista use SQL 2005 etc to make a private server on the computer? and then upload it to a vps etc... is it possible on vista?

Yeah there are plenty of people who use vista or windows 7. Even some of the tuts tell u how with vista or 7 just read/watch through them. ;)
