Hellmouth source Help

As a request from fang, opening a new topic about this in the right forum.


Ok, first off i'll apologize if i annoy anyone for posting this, but i have quite literally been searching every topic on this site for hours looking for a answer.

I installed my Client, patched it to 5355 like im suppose to, changed the settings.ini in bin/debug to my hamachi ip, database 5310, did the same for loaderset.

I open hellmouth, i get this:

[HellmouthRevival] Loaded arena rankings successfully

Server started in 3490 milliseconds
Server Ready.

So i open conquer loader, it opens fine, click to login with random user and pass and it goes to a black screen, sits there for a few seconds and tells me conquer online has stopped working.

I am definetly using the right client 5355,
Settings for loader:
[Loader]
IPAddress=5.165.92.116

Force=TRUE

Settings for bin/debug/settings
IP=5.165.92.116
USERNAME=root
PASSWORD=eyezack2

I have debugged hellmouth and get no errors.

What am i doing wrong?

I opened the ports 9958 and the other one cant remember it atm. anyone have some advice?

Dude thats like waiting for them to fix your face. Have to do it myself. So any help?

You took up the attitude before i did, And i probably do, like a typical keyboard warrior who wont take the time out to help someone who is just asking.

Im not like the others posting, i explained everything in my first post, my english is good and im not demanding help im asking politely, so you have no reason to talk like you are to me mate. I just Like the look of the Source for hellmouth, and im planning on learning off that, but as im saying, my conquer just goes black and stops working.

is your database in the sql named 5310? or did you name it something else, if so that could be a contributing factor

try to hard code a character, iv had this issue my self with loggin in on that source Im not really sure why, but when I hard coded the character in the mysql character database i logged on with out any issues.
