[Help]NPC Translation and Edit.

I'm currently working on a server set, but I would love to add some npc's and edit the ones I found.
Could someone point me in the right direction where to edit this and perhaps how? Any tip is welcome.
I'm not that well known on editing, so I'm trying to learn a bit.
I got most of the things currently available on PServers working, but I would love to do some actual editing.
Also, does anyone else use the level 255 gears? If so, are the weapons the only ones available? I'm not asking for the files, just wondering.

No one has 255 gears because I haven't released the dat to do it. The only dats out there that have been updates that people are using were stolen from my OmniWar client.

So if you are serious about working on zero, prepare to reverse engineer byte store structure dats and make your own editors.

I just want to add some NPC's so I can put in the items that I have in my db that are not buyable yet. For example: Golden Golden and Silver Body paint items, Sniper and Gauss Gun ammo, etc... Perhaps add some NPCs with special features like bossmap teleport and new quests. I think these should all be able to edit in the db, right?

Can only sell from an npc what exists in the itemtype.dat. If you are talking booths, then shop.dat as well with new store ids.

Also, I will not be teaching anyone here how to edit either of them.

Alright, thanks.
Like I said, all information is helpful. Even a point in the right direction is enough for me to figure things out.
I just wish there were more people with knowledge on this that actually make guides on things and such. Would be nice to have a community for Zero like Eudemons.
Zero has a lot of potential and you could add a lot of things in it to make the game even better and more fun. Sadly, there isn't a lot of people for it to make a nice community.

I used to help people, write documents and such, and I have been working on this game for nearly 2 years now and have amassed many tools and documents by my own creation.

However, I don't release anything due to people stealing my work. So everything that can be done, only gets done on OmniWar.

Of course it's not nice to have your hard work stolen by others, but if the Zero Online community dies off like this, the people in your and potential other servers will get less and less. Guides and releases, even helping, will catch the eye of other people. So far there's not even a single guide on any forums that's actually functional as a complete guide. There are a lot of people that just rip stuff, but there are also a lot of people that are willing to help. I'm just gonna go for helping people and attracting more people to Zero, but first I need more knowledge on how everything works. Sadly, it will take longer with the amount of guidance there is for ZO. Atleast we have the EO community for most edits, since everything pretty much works the same way.

Except as far as zero is concerned there is a lot more dat editing required client side, and the majority of the public tables need to be redone from scratch unlike EO which has tools and is relatively super easy. Just as a heads up and all.
