stealing others work problem?

I've just seen a wrong posted topic about stealing others model edits work in the moderation queue.

The member asked for the help from the moderation.

So could anyone explain me the problem? :p

Not sure what this is about, but i have closed/deleted threads in the past where people have reported the work as stolen, mind you i have checked to make sure.

stealing others works is different from stealing others ideas
if one remake a program from beginning by just using someone else ideas, i think that should be ok
and usually those ideas are always similar and repeated, so it will be hard to determine copying or not

but if one just repost someone's program and claim its their own
thats a no no

anyhow, i am not sure which topic u are referring to
because multi-clients, itemtypes, speedhack....etc programs always have this problem

I agree. There is no copyright on ideas, only on things.

Just make it OpenSource.
