If the bot is not displaying the chat log, try this;
Code:
 Change

 [Address 1]
 Value=
 Type=CHAR[100]
 Address1=0017CE3A
 Address1Offset0=
 Address1Offset1=

 To

 [Address 1]
 Value=
 Type=CHAR[100]
 Address1=0018CE3A
 Address1Offset0=
 Address1Offset1=
Notes
-there are 5 drop-down boxes added in the jig settings.
-you can define what jig to jump to if the bot notices the fish is taking line.
-the bot will only jump a jig once within a given jig, so make sure to set the jigs accordingly.
**Fish bot complete**
**Craft bot incomplete**

Icons on the main is hard to understand. Not sure what i am selecting. Once i learn them i am sure i will be able to use with ease. But at first glance its intimidating. But excited to see what you have in store. Thanx for your continued efforts.

I am not sure what the X and the O icons are for.

Do you need to already be in "fishing mode" to get the thing to kick off

Does this run windowed?

Can you use your computer to do other activities while its running?

Will it support dual monitors?

Im not sure how to record my pixel for the bait/lure?

Can you provide additional explaination in the readme file or in a reply here?

Thanks for your work on this, I am just not sure how to use it--

Try pressing buttons and you will see what the X is for. The circle is to record FF XIV resolution.
Yes
Yes (window must be opened)
Yes
Yes
Let the auto pixel recorder do it for you. Click fishy and click it again.

Sorry, I keep forgetting that people can't see what I see. I always assume they will understand, but I failed when I assumed. :P

I pressed all the buttons, many many times :)

I gathered that the X tests the configuration file to determine if its correct.

Concerning the Record Button. You press it, it turns green, then you press it again, and it turns red. Is that the proper action to record the resolution?

Concerning the recording of the fish is tired - I manually fished until I got this message, and completed that particular cast, then I tried to run the program, but it seems to stay perpetually in script paused mode

I did switch to the impact font, thickest. It is incredibly hard to read but following the instructions that is what I did.

I also didn't know what the target resolution was, I realize it will record your resolution, but since I was running at 1920x1080, I went back and reviewed your other thread and changed it to your recommended of 1600x1024 I believe is what you had.

I must be doing something wrong I cannot get it to do anything.

It will change to lug worm on the menu, I see that much happen, then the X turns red, and it just stays paused. It won't close or otherwise. Have to task manager out of it.

It must be user error. Perhaps you could post a youtube video of the steps you are taking to do the initial setup?

You just click the record resolution button once to make it turn green. Once it's green, you're resolution has been recorded.

When there is an error the bot turns off until the user press the Red X to turn it back on. Think of it as a needing a key to turn on an engine. When the key is not inserted the user cannot turn it on unless they know how to hot wire a car.

BTW if you press "DELETE" you can force close the bot.

If the bot functions as intended I will make some youtube videos, but as for now I really want to get it tested and work on the code. I am not even sure I will continue with the bot if there are problems with pixels on other users PC's. This is more of a "test run" to see if I want to continue with the current code.

I like the direction that this is going. 2 things though.

1) I may be pressing the wrong button for this, but the auto recorder isn't doing anything

2) After manually recording the pixels, I tried fishing, but got no response. Resolution has been recorded (I got that one right ^^)

The buttons to start is the big button that says "GO" as an icon after all pixels are recorded. You cannot miss it. Just press the fish and press it again after it moves to the middle.
If the bot is just sitting there and after you press the button it should give an error after a few seconds or so. Else try closing/opening

I have a feeling the pixels will not work on other PC's, but we will see.

no luck here.

successfully recorded resolution.
otherwise nothing :(

went into fish menu with both x green and record button green

fished manually for a while

clicked go = instant red x

tried different approach

same as above, except clicked go then fished for a while, then clicked go again, nothing

tried a variety of combinations of me manually fishing and starting the bot

no action at all other than recording the res

Did you record pixels manually or used auto recorder?
What error is bot giving you when you click the red X?
