Guide to Play:

1.) Download the Cabal US Client(recommended) SEA/EU/BZ clients are fine too
2.) After you finish downloading, install it, and FULLY update it.
3.) After the Client fully patched, download the servers patch [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
4. When you finish downloading the patch, drag all the files to the cabal folder and overwrite everything.
5.) Now thats done, Next is you need to install East language go to Control panel -> Date, Time, Language and Regional Options - > Regional and Language Options - > Go to the language tab then check both of them. You need your windows xp/vista cd to install it. After that you will restart your comp.
6.) Thats it you can connect now

Solutions:

XP: You must install East Asian Language Pack
Instruction:
Control panel -> Date, Time, Language and Regional Options - > Regional and Language Options - > Go to the language tab then check both of them. You need your windows xp/vista cd to install it. After that you will restart your comp.

Vista: NO SOLUTION
Also you can try to do this:
Go to your desktop find the cabal online shortcut right click -> properties-> compatability tab -> on the very bottom check the run this program as an administrator click apply after that go to security tab -> make the user have full control. try that.


FAQ:

1. Can i use the SEA/EU client?
Answer: Yes

2. Do i need a proxy for this?
Answer: NO

3. My version of XP is not valid (cracked) help please i have no CD to install the pack
Answer: Google and download the pack

4. When will the new patch for this to work with vista comes out?
Answer: Go ask the creator =)

5. I can't purchase in-game cash items
Answer: I'm not sure but try logging onto the websites cash shop (on the side of the page) and buy the items from there. My understanding that it might send you the cash item in-game.

6. I got in-game and see other people's name really weird with characters
Answer: Don't worry i think it's because they're Chinese users and entered their name using Chinese characters. If a player enter their name with English characters you will be able to see it.

7. The game crashes a lot 'Help'
Answer: Maybe it's too crowded...after all this is the very 1st cabal private server. Also maybe server isn't very stable atm

8. Help i get the message 'Close Game to Update......' and the client closed
Answer: If you're XP user make sure you have installed the language pack. If you're Vista user i have no idea i'm getting that msg too

9. I cannot log in-game it load with a full bar then said i cannot connect
Answer: Make a new account and it should be fixed

I have a question, I managed to play and I have XP with east asian language pack installed, but when I'm in-game, I see some other players with weird names (some unknown symbols) but some are just fine.

I was wondering if I was the only one that has this kind of problem...or perhaps it's the others who don't have language pack installed...

nah not really they're chinese players with language packs installed. I can't get in because I'm using vista but from my previous experience in a Chinese 2moons sev this is the case. Don't worry if someone entered their name in English you can still see it.

well apparently i don't think they can understand english just like 2moons...maybe you can try shouting out to find an english player =)
