combined archlord pserver developer group

Heyho guys,

I think now it's the right time to start off with this.

As you all may know, archlord private server history was not very glorious at all. Servers came and servers gone down. We did not work together. Finally, there is just webzen.

But as you all know:
WEBZEN SUCKS! (HARD!)

We are damned to play on webzen forever- or we change our faith.
It's time for a change right now!
Instead of QQing or moaning about webzen, we, the archlord player community, should make our own archlord.
Making 1000 archlord pservers won't help us tho.
I suggest to create following servers to oblige all players, so we do not need to argue about the ingame content:

1 server CMlike epi1/2
that got no uniques and stuff, but lv8x armors, for the oldskool archlord lovers.

1 server CMlike epi 2/3/4
this uniques and realms, maybe [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

1 server WZ like epi7/8/...
with all new content so far, gotta discuss later what to keep or take out

With this 3 servers we could fill the whole spektrum of archlord players interessts.

To reach this, we need to work together in a BIG group. Every AL coder, (bot)programmer, staff or ppl who can help in other ways are welcome.
Therefore we need to form a big group in a skype or msn chatroom and create kinda archlord developer team. We also could test bugs, hacks and dupes on our own servers.

If all people come together we can climb this mountain and begin a new era of archlord online gaming. Together we are faster. Together we are better.
Together we will pwn webzens ass!

At first we need to do alot of plannig stuff. Gotta care about the skype or msn group. What do u prefer? Maybe we can even get a TS or vent channel.

Before starting off with any stuff, I need to know what you think about this and if you are willing to join this project.

personally i think it is an awesome idea. i havent got any experience or anythung but this is a good idea and many peiple would join. on Pservers is everything free like wp or is it disabled or smthing.

yeah , and i dont like all webzens new content , like serazens , new toas , heavenly is cool , scrolls , etc. But CF realms are great i gota say.

I think your idea are Exellent AncientPlayer. Well there have been some talk about this before but it never have worked out right. To bad i got no experience of creating and things like that. The only thing im good on are looking for bugg's.

I hope someone help you whit this projekt.

just saying but thats just the same feldunost is already doing, i think u would better join and help him then make another team

that is a nice indeed. But this is far too less planing for opening a private server with such a obligation. It is not just deciding who will be working with you, and who works on which part.

You also have to work out, who will pay this whole thing? You know, servers aren't cheap, and you suggested to open 3 servers, so multiplicate the costs of only the servers with 2 or 3.

You also mentioned that you want to open 3 servers with the episodes from 1-8, but now take a quick brainstorming: Who can set up those episodes? Who can get them? And from where? And same here: 3 servers with 3 different episode mixtures means 3 times more work for the coders. I don't think they will do this for free, so same thing here. Who pays them?

It is just too less planning for the moment, you need to go the facts through and through a thousand times and only if you are sure, you covered every little point, you should open such a thread.

Anyway good luck with that. I am unfortunately not a coder.

well i can help u with the files and stuff, i worked with them for a long time.
But still my priority will go to felds team
