Name-Based Auto Follower!!

05/13/2008 19:06 :InTeX:#1
I am aware that evanxxxm recently released his 'FollowMe' macro, however it lacks the capability to follow a player which is not logged in on the same machine from what I can see.

Script Vessel had this feature before the new 2.08 version (which nobody can seem to crack) so I was just wondering if a few macro coders could pull together and make one?

hiyoal and evanxxxm - if working together, could you possibly do something similar to what SV did? (ie enter a players name and auto follow)??

Im working on it too for few months. After i will found the monsters', players', items' coords the new SV will be released:)) I've already find the names... But the coords are not there........... So i have to work more and more....

Nice one! I was just wondering whether or not players from accross the server would have their 'landing' co-ords after jumping/walking sent to every client to allocate a memory value for it?

I suppose it must have to, else you wouldn't knwo where they're going :confused:

tbh I've only done little coding so I dont know how it'd work :P Just an idea lol.

Yes, these coords are hided:) But if we searching for them for a time, then maybe we can find it, before the next patch:D:D:D:D

But that would be enough too, if anyone (or i) would find the coords' memory address:D :) After that we could find the pointers:D

HaXorZ the client?

Mayyyybe... {Noob Guess}

1. Get your client co-ords (where u are standing)
1a. *EDIT ADDED* - Maybe log a noob and get his co-ords? see if you can grab them from a different client?
2. Use CheatEngine to find those values?
3. See if you can modify the values using that DMA thing?
4. Add maybe 5/6 XY Co-Ords to the current ones so they don't jump directly on top of the main plvler :P

I know its probably soo much harder though... :rolleyes:

@InTeX
You can't modify these values:) After you jumped one, they will be returned to normal values:) I think everyone made this thing, who find the coord address:)) Anyway your (so my) character's coords are finded. We don't have the address only for the other characters', monsters', items' coords shown on the screen :)

Damnn mkay, well maybe collaborate with evan and hiyoal when they come back online and see what you can all come up with :D

xD Also... try hok30 - he seems to know a bit about macros :) Good luck to you all ;)

:p Why don't you try to code one? Or start learning coding? This is why many great coders have left. There are too many leechers that are trying to just get bots without trying to come up with stuff... If you are trying to learn how to code then cool, but if you aren't, you should start trying. You've got some nice ideas, you just need to try them for yourself!

EDIT: I posted this right when you were typing yours, Sure I'll try and help, but again, I am just starting to work on Memory.

EDIT2: I added you to MSN

Posted like 5 seconds after me! Im trying out AHK right now, seems like a pretty funky gadget to have :D Just playing with opening various applications right now though, downloaded it like 15 mins ago :rolleyes:

Kewl. Just an FYI, the only person I know on the forums who uses AHK is Evan, so you could probably get more help by learning AutoIt, which, in my opinon, is much easier.

Better to check the help file:) I learned the AutoIt from there:) There are very nice examples;):rolleyes:

Not sure if this is of any use in this proposed follower, but just checking the UHF table thread and found this by a guy called ephe:

Following, are my findings about Y coord (suppose the X is pretty much similar, but this evening I decided to play with Y axis :p)
-observations appear to be consistent 100% to me-

0056FF84 Realtime Y (even during jumps)

0056BD14 Destination Y (either by running/walking or jumping, it's the Y coord of where you clicked or ctrl-clicked; becomes 0 after sitting; this is the value that address above will have when destination is reached)

0056A338 Destination Y (only by running/walking, if you jump to somewhere by ctrl-clicking it will stay unchanged)

0056A330 Same as above (at least couldn't find different behaviours from above)

0056A328 Y coord where you came from (ONLY if by running/walking, remains unchanged if jumping)

EDIT: from a quick verification (didn't dig up much into it though), exact same rules apply to X coord, being X address = Y address - 4 (realtime X would be 0056FF80)
