Flashing Whisper Boxes

Do the flashing faces at the bottom of your screen lag you all to hell when you are playing?

all you need to do is remove or rename the animation file named "PlayerFace" located in
C:\Program Files\Conquer 2.0\ani

the little arrow next to it can also be removed by removing or renaming "CSConceal.dds & CSConcealClick.dds" located in
C:\Program Files\Conquer 2.0\data\interface\Style01\chatsystem
also the team chat icon is in the same folder and names are "CSSeminar.dds & CSSeminarClick.dds"

I hope I help someone as i know it kills my Fps when i am trying to pvp....

glad i could help, im trying to remove the Pathfinding, Mentor Rewards, and Item lock buttons, but i dont want to just delete the image. or else you end up with buttons still there only invisible
I want to move the buttons out of the way. if anyone knows where to find this please let me know.
I played in the GUI.ini and can only seem to find the buttons for the whole blue bar at the bottom like status,item,friend,pk,guild..........and the screens that open when you choose them.

why to remove the item lock and the mentor button ... they are usefull if u wanna see ur apprentice`s contribution ... better try 2 remove the shopping mall ... or try 2 move them somewhere else ...

i would be glad if u could remove that pathfinding thingy...:)

to make for better pvp/less crap to accidently click on. if i can find where the coordinates for the buttons are it could be possible to put them all in where the blank Conquer square is in the bottom right corner.

As for there usefulness, yes item lock and mentor rewards could be of some use. you should always have a unedited copy of CO on your pc. you never know when you may need to have back up files or make use of the game the way it exisits
