[Request] Help (Yes seriously \-_-;)

If you do not wish to hear about the sad life of Mabinogi, or why I am posting this thread for help, please skip section 1. If you don't care for anything extra, also skip section 3 and 4.


I have looked around a ton, but sadly it is no help to my poor brain :<

[Section1.] Ok, well as most of you know, Mabinogi is dead for various reasons (dragon's nest, people fearing duping and such, OP items being offered in 9$ gachas {More to come as seen in KR's protest o.e}) I'm pretty well set in the game, and I getting ready to end my game and quit. So I've pretty much done alot of what there is to do in Mabi, but one thing I have never done is Mod, or packet edit. So I am posting this to get some help on how to use alissa(?) (if thats what it is called, pake, and the GM panel (LOL if you guys are willing to let me have some of that fun also)

[Section2.] I do not know poop about hacking and packet editing. I even failed at using tiara on my own (._.;) And when ever I asked for help, or looked for help, most of the posts said ->:rtfm: And I did, but couldn't understand it. So now I am asking for help

a. What are the files I need for getting GM hide, and NOFORCE?
(If your willing to let someone like me to have some of this fun :p)

b. How do I use these files? (ie. where do i insert them in the mabinogi folder. What should I change/move around to make it work properly)

c. From all the mods and hacks I've downloaded and randomly inserted into my Mabinogi folder, I can already tell that it's jacked. I probably will have to reinstall Mabinogi because of this right? ( I inserted mod folders into random files that looked appealing, lol...)

d. I don't want to server crash or anything, cause that stuff directly effects the lives of other players. (But I'm still in for the duping and GM hiding :3) But I do wan't to know how i prevent crashing? (I found Tylian's thread but i don't know how to use it...)

e.What are some (all...) of the features included in MNG, alissa, and mabipake? I wan't to know what would be the most fun to use. BTW Lookin for interesting new fun here, not someting to mess with other players. But still list all the features malicious to others or not...

[Section 4.] Yey! :handsdown:

Section 1: There's tons of hints and pointers all across this forum.

Section 2A: GM Hide is patched and you can't use it anymore, and "NOFORCE" is in Private MNG 4.0

Section 2B: Just insert said files into the regular Mabinogi folder (C:/Nexon/Mabinogi by default.)

Section 2C: If problems persist with mods, then, yes you will need to reinstall a clean client.

Section 2D: You'll need Pake first, then to input the file name into Mod.txt .

Oh wowwwww... xD all of this stuff can be found in this forum. Look for the thing called "Search" Type in Modding Guide. I can tell you this, you will not gain anything from this thread other than derailment. Everything you have asked for is on this forum tho, so look and you will find.

Mew, forgot one thing. Make a clean client, problem solved :D

I'm pretty sure GM hide is not patched, a friend of mine was using it in SS Elite a few days ago.

well... Pet fetch hide is patched. Dunno about actual GM hide. I never had any use for them, so yeah...

What does GM Hide do?

Put that in your Mabinogi folder.

0 = Off.
1 = On.

Edit anything in the "JAP.ini" and the "MNG.ini".

GM Hide lets you basically turn invisible, unable to be seen by any player. It also allows you to attack mobs without being aggro'd.

The one you have is probably the "Pet Fetch Hide" one, that's the one that's patched already.

I haven't tested my theory but it is possible gm hide still works and is just at a different opcode. This is only a posiblility and its not one that I am going to test becuase of pet fetch hide's uselessness. Feel free to test it.
