Hello everyone, i believe i saw this on these forums awhile ago but figured i would post this little trick for anyone who doesnt know.
To run Conquer.exe directly, its much much MUCH easier then editing the source in olly or anything. You simply need to pass the parameter "blacknull" to conquer.exe and it will run directly. This could be useful for any programmers out there that are trying to use CreateProcess (or similar functions) to start up conquer but cant get it to work because it tells you to run play.exe first.
For those that dont know how to create a shortcut on windows, here is a quick guide
note: on windows 7 i have to run the shortcut as administrator otherwise it gives me the error "Failed to initiate game"
