Acc. Server not working -.-

well i did setup my eudemons server... everything looks fine but when i try 2 start it up.. the first error already occurs at the account server "Account server.exe has stopped working" -.-* i guess its the damned vista again but im not sure... anyway any has a suggestion on how 2 solve this problem.??

Yea this happens to me sometimes aswell.

I use Johns ready server and when it happens I uninstall the mysql service and uninstall xampp (for php and mysql) then extract an orginal of mysql, reinstall xampp and and then reset the privileges.

But anyway It seems by your post that you havn't had it up yet so make sure the correct database is configured in the ini files and also make sure that ODBC is in the privileges.

If it isn't just type in

grant all on my.* to 'ODBC'@'localhost';

In either phpmyadmin or navicat's command.

I am also running Vista :D

well i checked the ini files 1000 times and they r correctly configured... tho didnt tought 'bout the odbc -.-" anyway thnx 4 the help

To fix this problem you will need to go to your accserver files and make sure EVERYTHING is correct, like the IP adress, user and password for mysql.
And make sure you are running mysqld-nt and if you used my guide make sure you have edited it correctly.
And last thing you can check is the password you have for root@localhost or whatever user you are using...


NOTE: must use password test, but can change user for server server files....

open START menu => Search type: "cmd" => Star whit Administerator => Type cd C:\wamp\mysql\bin => mysqld-nt --install => sc start mysql Here you go...enjoy

omg... isnt 1 time saying that everything is corrently configured not enuf ?? ... anyway only thing i needed was the odbc and sum other shit... server runs perfect now
