A question with textures

I just wanted to know how to hook texture to a item. Like if I add new wings, and I got a new texture but how do I point that new texture to that new wing?. I've been working on it and trying to figure out how to do that. Can someone please give me a hand?, thanks.

Copy the tpack file of the "new item", open it with notepad, and change the texture path.

hope you remember item_shape so you can see the item and what not since your making it a complete new item
