concept, aka silver bomb?

I've played a mmo called CABAL and if you guys have played it too, it has a thing which is called "alz bomb", alz is the currency there. So this alz bomb is when you kill a monster and it's like fortune pouch but instead you get loads of sets of alz just by a monster, so is it possible to send "silvers" packet or "fortune pouch" packet so that when a monster die, the monster always drop either loads of sets of silvers or fortune pouch?

is fortune pouch server sided? because alz bomb in that game is client sided somehow and it has been hacked...so if you activate that option, every single monster drop alz bombs...

Face palms.
No its server side.
Client sends packet for picking up item
Client sends packet for using fortune pouch
Fortune pouch is removed if it exists
Amount of silver given
If pouch does not exist disconnect no silver given.

:/ idk but alz bombs are client sided. How can you figure out if something is client sided or server sided? is it more like trial and error or there's a way of finding this out?

I just read up on that cabal hack, and if you had paid a little attention to those threads. You would notice its a scam (keylogger blabla).
No game company is gonna be so foolish to make money client sided, its not even worthwhile to look for it. Just dont bother.

Not trying to be rude here, but dont you think all these things you ask are overdoing it a bit? Why not just try to play the game how its meant to be.

not really..since i'm learning quite alot from the people who always bother answering my question and not pointing out whether to ask more or not :/

well, my concept was a bit different, i know that silver is server sided but by sending multiple packets to the server was it possible for the same mob to drop more then one pairs of silver...i wasn't really talking about hacking the silvers themselves...

Think.. Monsters killed on the server not client side. So the server drops the items.
If your action effects other people on server its usally server side ;)

If your buying items and stuff its server side. The only way you can trick that is when they use signed instead of unsigned for the money. but this game dosnt .
