lowering lvl requirements of weapon/armor

ok i saw something interesting in RFcheats that you can lower the lvl requirements for weapon and armor, i tried messing with the item.edf and manage to lower the lvl requirement but i still can't equip the weapon and the error msg is "unable to equip items: Low skill level". Can anyone shed some light here?? specially you borlet hehe can you atleast give some hint about this or my error problem?? whats the thing i'm missing?? discuss...

lvl requirements are serversided i think. but maybe you could do it. did you just follow the instructions in RFcheats?

but most of exploits posted on that site is hidden.

LOW skill level? It's ur skill pt, ex. Lvl 45 range armor need Range skill pt of 64 to wear it.

D'oh ( error: Low Skill Lvel")

mind u im testingit in my Hack Private Server ... ( private) ... my force is gm but when i try to equip the staff on my char it gives me the error

can you plz give us some hints. everything listed so far does nothing for us.

I don't think it will change the stats in real....perhaps its only screen view (client sided)...and the real lvl requirement might be server sided...

I've been trying as well and failed.
