New Feature

Just wondering. I was thinking there could be a feature were you could choose if 'leechers' could see it. So people under a certain number of thanks. So lets say I post a really awesome bot, but I don't want leechers to get it... i just use the leecher function and now only people over 50 thanks (received) can see the post.

Yes I like the idea. Probably wont ever be done though. Maybe make it so the user can set how many because 50 is a lot ;P. Or maybe do it on posts (which again can be set).

Yeah exept post can be iffy. Some user could just post spam and get their post count up really high. Not to mention any names... :p but yeah I agree with how the user could enter in how many thanks/posts.

because in my forum, people can not read restricted post if they are under for example like 100 replies
great idea, but u will be seeing many people abusing the system and create multi accounts and thanks themselves or keep replying in every single thread
it cant be prevented or punish because:
i can just create a very useless tips thread
whether or not it deserve a "thanks" is not judge by mods
so i can create like 10 accounts to thanks myself

and about replying, u cant ban people because they keep saying "thank you, i love the idea/program/hacks" in every single thread, right?

so at the end, this system will not stop leechers, it will only slow them down maybe 30mins

the idea is nice, but ppl will be stealing stuff and posting to get thanks... there's already ppl like that and it will be even worse

would just draw attention to other forums, where someone with xx post/thanks would just repost the work

no and it wouldn't work. I have proof about 12 people would just spam thanks look at all my thanks.. i had 1 ONE post under Xtreme's with a proxy and i got a bumload of thanks along with everybody else that posted on that first page
