URGENT: Vista users read this

As this is my very 1st official contribution to this website, i am hoping that it hasn't been posted before. If so, then i truly apologize.

I'm not sure if Windows XP will let you do this, but i have found that Vista allows you to create unlimited Users accts, right? So, i found out last night that Vista users can create these accts without the need for a multi-client and still be within the legal limits. Vista uses separate memory for each user acct so, this you can switch users at any time with all clients still logged on. Tho, i would strongly advise getting rid of that crap they call a anti-virus program for Conquer. But, keep the rest of the new patch installed...why? I also found that if you use the multi-client, you don't benefit everything else from patch. Still testing this theory. Anyway, back to topic.

Example: Let's say you got 10 accts with Conquer, make 5 new user accts and give each a unigue name so you know which is which. I named mines Conquer 1, Conquer 2, and so forth. For each user acct, login 2 chars. Now you have now logged in 10 chars.

As i have mentioned before, this allows you to fully benefit from the new patch and still be within legal limits. And TQ can't do a thing about it, that i know of. For all they know, you could have 5 computers running off the same ip address...legally. Therefore 2 clients to each system. Just make sure you got enuff memory installed and if you like, add ReadyBoost memory too.

This all have something or other to do with ppl using multi-clients, i think TQ's patch is set up to nullify it to the point that ppl can and will not benefit from the game as much as they would if they only had 2 clients running. You may not see it as that, but i believe TQ is either using outside help or they're finally getting wiser. I'm still testing and will keep you guys posted. Thx for reading.

I made myself a multiclient, without the virus scan or site survey popping up, so far i have no trouble everything works from the new patch, trade system, mentor system, all that junk. Although i got windows XP. so i dont know maybe your right about it that multiclients stops u from benefit the new patch things with vista, but not with windows XP, thought i'd post that, saves you time trying it with XP :P

That's considered illegal and besides that, you can only open up to 7 clients. I know it seems kinda akward but, this way TQ sees it as different computers on a single IP address. That's the way i figure it. And you can open as many clients as your system can handle. I did the multi-client. Not knocking it or anyone that uses it. I just presented a round-a-bout of doing this legally and with less lag (depends on your memory). That's all. But thanks so much for your inputs...I appreciate them.

First of all, I really doubt TQ is worrying about multiclient, due to the fact that its more people playing the game. So there is no reason to not use the multiclient.

This method is extremely memory hoggy.. and STILL violates terms of service.
Using this method, using a multi client, and actually having multiple computers running off of the same IP will appear the same to TQ, so why not give your system an easier time?

TQ clearly states that 2 clients per machine is all thats allowed, it does not matter how you get the 3rd CO to load, if it be changing some hexed code in the EXE or changing user names.. its still multi clienting which is a violation of terms.

Yeah...I reckon y'all is right. After testing, i found that switching users is downright time consuming and a pain in the ass. How do i kill this thread? Kinda embarrassing posting without thinking the whole thing through.
