Configuring Shaiya DataBase

I am a few issues and problems away from opening a fully-functional server, for example i had an idea. In which you can get every skill at level 15, this would make the 1-15 so much intense and more interesting.

I edited my SQL so it looks like this :

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Yet, when i go in-game only the skills that should show up actually do. I think that there is another variable that must be changed for example, you must need to edit the column that makes the Skill show when you reach a certain level. I also tried to change the statpoint required to learn a skill to 0 for everyskill so that you could get them all and experiment. This also failed.

Final Question -

It seems that when i enter the Grade number, there is maybe 4-7 different pieces of armour and weapons that could come out. I have had ???152 for example dropping from edited mobs and armour and weapons. Also gear that I have never heard of before. For example "dark cloth" which seems to be a archer/ranger 1-15 top with one lapis slot. How do i restrict what drops? So there can only be one thing that drops per grade.

Well, about the skills, yeah, not everything is done on the database, im sure that you have to edit something else (im not quite sure what though) outside it.

On the drops, yes, there are many items with the same grades, then what you will need to do is find unused grades, and change the grade of the items you don't want to a different/unused grade on the PS_GameDefs.dbo.Items so that if, for example you want the starter mobs to drop an item with a grade of lets say 205 but between the 205 items there are some ?????413 then find an unused grade, lets say 904 and change the grade of the ?????413 from 205 to 904 and that would be it

This is actualy a realy good idea ^_^ i wish you luck

And as a bonus, ppl will not be able to QQ "i got 60'ed" ^^ they will have to QQ "i got 15'ed" Muahahaaa kinda lame xD

I dont even know how to do it :D, can only find the "Reqlevel" field that looks like it edits it. But in-game the skills dont show up until you hit the level that it would normally show up for, looking for something else in SQL that might make it possible.

Also I Changed dbo.items to new grades that i just made up and then used them to edit mob drops, i used 6 items for one drop. THe only thing that drops is Metal helmet, out of Quine/Hard Leather. Changed their grades 762/763/764. And i only get one of the three items, any ideas?

When there are a lot of items on the same grade, and according to the drop rate of them, it is kinda random which item you will get as a drop; my suggestion there would be to test it a little more, lets say add on ItemOrder 1 Grade 762 DropRate 100 // ItemOrder 2 Grade 763 DropRate 100 // ItemOrder 3 Grade 764 DropRate 100...and repeat them so that you will have the same grade of item being dropped 3 times from the same mob, if everything is correct and there are many items on all of those Grades, then you should most likely get 9 drops, 3 per Grade, even though it is still possible that you get 2 of one grade being the same item, but you could test that on starter mobs so you can kill them in 1 hit and check the drops

You need to edit your Skills.sdata to show the visual part the skill requiring a different level than normal.
