hello..just a while ago someone asked me to trade my sun staff +5 8D for his sun staff +5 9D .. his staff was obviously better & full blue, anyways I knew there's something weird going on..when we tried to exchange first time he put his staff in exchange & conformed when I put my staff his staff changed to a normal one with no + or blues on it . he canceled the trade & applied again .. so I did not trust him & told him to fuck off..soo how did he do that? can someone change how an item looks like?

He made a fast switch, this is not a hack.

He just changed the item without confirm/approve ...

It would work as the D12 bug when the bot switches weapon to buff and normal elixirs would apply on D12 weapon, but this time a white weapon would be traded instead of the real weapon.

hmm i don't think it would be possible considering now with exchanges the item only shows up when he confirms and that already locks in the item from switching

actually theres a quite complex exploit where you can switch an item in exchange
for example... put a premium inside exchange, exchange it over.... and it turns into a potion when he teleports
but theres many steps involved and u gotta be fast unless you got a script for it
similiar to the old private server exchange dupe? i know, but its far different
dont worry though, i doubt anyone knows how to do it yet

if this gets out it will get fixed easily and theres another exploit gone which is good :)
but trust me i realy dont think anyone will find it out
at least not anyone dumb.... aaand just dumb people scamms... yea?

But theres a way to protect urself from this, you need to confirm, and then approve... before the other guy does (Sounds weird, yeah...)
but thats another risk, confirming and approving fast increases the chance of getting scammed by the normal switch lame ass scam
