Quick Note - This isn't a real guide to look genuinely pro in s4 league, it is how people think pro's are. Nothing more, a pro can use Spark rifle, dagger and Breaker and at the end of the day they are a pro nonetheless.
Guide on how to look pro when you're really not.
Pointless, but worth it in-game.
Step 1.
When in Death matches train using revolver, as its seen as the weapon most used by pros nowadays. When using revolver Dodge (A+Space) or (D+Space) and shoot, do this after every shoot.
For example I will dodge left using A + Space to begin with when i find an enemy player. So you A + Space, LEFT CLICK . D + Space, LEFT CLICK, until they are dead. This technique hasn't failed for me yet, you make take a few hits and after a few battles they will ware you down until they will kill you but w/e.
Step 2.
Station-2, the stairs is the birthplace of pro's. If you can master some of the jumps on there and score in a full game you are going to become well recognised after a few games. The most well known person on S4 league at the moment is Donee. Not Because his level, because he is extremely good at executing the jumps on the stairs in station-2.
Step 3.
Chatting in games should be minimalized, if you notice pro's rarely speak unless they are with friends that they know. In my opinion this emphasises the proness of the person. The number of "Fake Rookies" is actually climbing quite quickly, most pro's decide to re-make an account to start at Begginer (Level 0) so they have less competition in games and are less targeted for abuse from the common rager or "Troller".
Step 4 - The Final Step.
Weapon Selection is the most VITAL part of being a pro, knowing how to use them in game situations helps BUT if you are a level 20-40 using Mind shock and Spy Dagger then you are guaranteed to get called a noob in nearly every game you play.
I recommend using Plasma Sword, Revolver and Counter Sword (For DM) or instead of Counter Sword use Handgun (for TD). If you can master these three weapons and the techniques used like the Rev dodge one. Then you are that step closer to being a pro without having to spend an extremely long time online. As a guess i think it would take about 1000 hours or more to become a pro.
As it takes about 30-60k experience per level to get from level 20-30 and and then takes 80-120k per level to get from 30-40 and 130-150k to get to level 45.
One Game for the whole 30 minutes will give you roughly 1,200 experience. Do the Math, you will see that being a pro is a genuine achievement and if you ever get that high. Then you rock. Level 65 = 11,487,720 experience. At 1,200 experience per a 30minute session .... Thats over 132days ONLINE! So Donee sat in a chair playing for 132 days altogether!! Definetly not all at once but almost a 1/3 of a year sat down.
Pointless Topic, but y'know. People are always asking how pro's get to be so good, lil insight into that in this topic :).
"If you want to be a real Pro Buy as much ap as you can and try to get as many forcepacks as you can and perm sets." - Request of *TrULife~
Adding Videos, just to show you that it does look pro :)
