How to remove the exit page (patch 5022)

Does TQ really expect us to take a survey everytime we're done playing? In their dreams xD

here's how to remove it

1. download XVI32
2. Open up Conquer.exe with XVI32
3. Hit Control+F and select text string. Search for "http://co.91.com/signout/"
4. The "h" of "http://co.91.com/signout" should be highlighed on the right side of the screen.
5. replace "http://co.91.com/signout/" with a string of a's (e.g. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa) by typing directly onto the right side
6. Click save and restart conquer.

have fun :)


EDIT: I UPDATED THE GUIDE, it shouldn't open any windows at all now. if you replaced with 00000's, it will open up your conquer folder after you exit

I've attached a preedited MultiClient + No Exit Page.. have fun :P

it's usually easier to download a multiclient and edit that one... and r34p3rex forgot to say there are more than one instance of the /signout/ page (they are 3 or 4), you have to overwrite all those with 00's. But the last one, which doesn't end with /signout/.

Only "http://co.91.com/signout/" applies :) the other ones are for the french and spanish versions of CO

yup your right it does but at least it loads quicker and i can quit it quicker than the survey opening. xD

well when i exit site still opens..
when i exit from the options => site opens
when i close the window site opens
when i exit from the log in screen site opens

is there anyway to permanently make the site not open...

To do this, both people need to log in on a client that doesn't have the new patch yet. Then you can do the trade. Then log out of the older version, and log back in with the new version. Then you can equip the items if you want.

I had to do this to trade my "for sale" elite stuff to my newly created merchant character.



You won't be able to equip the new items while on the older version, because the character levels, experience, etc don't register properly in it now. (for example, my lvl 116 tao shows as lvl 16).
