[Question]Server Logs

Can someone tell me what is saved in the logs? Are the trades, mailing, what you buy ect saved and can the admin find them out?

Trades and mailed / auction items are all logged. If you're planning on hijacking someone's account or duping an item. Drop the item on the ground and have someone else pick it up. No way to tell the difference betweeen that and a mob drop.

The problem is the gold, and how easy is for the admins to find the logs and look all of them?

not sure about gold, spend it fast and they may not notice. If you leave like 300,000 gold in bank it will be pretty obvious :P

for the items that is being drop to transfer to other char it can be detected for example

char 1 is being hacked.

char1 drop the item
char 2 get the item and drop it again
char 3 get the item

char 2 and char 3 will get ban.

this is the best way to hack a char

char 1 drop the item
char 2 get the item and drop
char 3 get the item

delete char 2 and they cannot trace it to the logs

well if you're from RFph, you dont have to worry about LUG pinpointing you as the hacker since they have given up cases on hacking.. =)

About gold trade.

Try avoid using round numbers like 100 000 000, 10 000 000 or so.
GM's might think this is RTM and ban you for that reason. (actually, they dont need a reason at all to ban you)
Using other random numbers like 95 312 432 will make their "cash search" very hard and the chanse of you will get caught will be extreme low.

- either for scamming, hacking or RTM, trade it over to an new account, let the cash stay there for a day or two.

even if you deleete your character, the log will still show what you traded trough that character.

what's the difference between

char1 drop the item
char 2 get the item and drop it again
char 3 get the item

with

char 1 drop the item
char 2 get the item and drop
char 3 get the item

the different thing is you have to delete your char 2 at the second option
delete char 2 and they cannot trace it to the logs
