Before you start reading, this is a guide to be able to edit login screens for conquer, not a guide to edit them. I am not writing a guide to editting login screens because that gets very off topic and it requires the knowledge of using adobe flash (or any other flash editting program).
First off, the login screen for conquer is a flash file (swf file) and if you have any prior knowledge of editting/creating flash files on Adobe Flash CS3/CS4/CS5 then you may be able to edit the Conquer login screen with ease.

The programs that I use to edit the login are: SoThink SWF Decompiler & Adobe Flash CS3. (I use Photoshop CS3 for designing my logins.)
Basically what I do is, I change the file extension of the start.dat to start.swf and then use the SoThink SWF Decompiler to decompiler the swf file and turn it into an fla file (the file that can be editted using Adobe Flash CS3/CS4/CS5)

When you convert the start.swf to start.fla, you will be prompt with the window below, just press OK.

Once you have the start.swf converted to start.fla, you can open the start.fla with Adobe Flash and then start editting it.

To save the login when your done editting on Adobe Flash, just press ctrl+enter or go to file>export>swf and Adobe Flash will export the login for you.
(Don't forget to go to settings and set the flash player to flash player 7 before exporting)
mmk so i understand that completely (that and the tut u quoted) but if i rename it to start.swf it stays a .dat just the name has .swf in it... so im assuming i am going to need to go and find a DAT to SWF converterQuote:
Rename start.dat to start.swf then use a converter to convert to swf --> flv.
Use adobe flash editor to edit flv file.
Convert flv --> swf
rename start.swf to start.dat
For more help look below.
lol as i said renaming it on my computer for some reason wont change the file extension i can take a screenshot of it i right click start(on the info is says DAT file)--->Rename--->start.swf---->start.swf(on the info says DAT file)Quote:
There's no dat --> swf converter. Use winrar.

yea from the screenshot that was just with the renaming "rightclick-->rename" and it still says dat idk why it doesn't change the file extension for me when i do that like it does u and i did wat u said with winrar and no corruption like it was when i just "add to archvie" and renamed it like thatQuote:
What in the world are you doing.
Open winrar. DO NOT COMPRESS START.DAT TO START.RAR
Find start.dat
Rename to start.swf
The description should now be Shockwave Flash.
In your screenshot it says DAT File.
lol i think ima just give up cuz i followed that tut word for word and when i got done non of the buttons worked and neither did the text boxes for user and pass XD so i fucked something up good thing i backed up the start file..Quote:

See how how RENAMED IT.
DO NOT ADD TO ARCHIVE.
We're just using winrar to RENAME IT.
