How to create a Privat Server on Silkroad


Step 1: Visual Basic Download
Download: Download will be added (from official site )

Step 2: Download Sro_Client
Download:[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
If you have downloaded this, change the titel to "sro_client_sremu".

Step 3: Emu. Download
Download: Head over to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] (you need to be logged in to download this file)
Note, this is updated daily.

Step 4: Host
Go to C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ drivers \ etc \ hosts and add this under localhost: 127.0.0.1 gwgt1.joymax.com
127.0.0.1 gwgt2.joymax.com

Step 5:Update the Private Server
CMD command:[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Download:FILE IS MISSING!!! [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] the Programmer of sremu update the Private Server every day, so you need to update it with this tool. If you click on Download Rev, you will become the srvb ordner (the private server).

Step 6: How to Start to Pserver
If you have updated the srvb ordner (private server), go to the folder "srvb" and opens the file "prjVBEmu" with Visual Basic 6.0 and click "play". Thus, the server is online.

Step 7: Ready to Play
Go to your Silkroad Ordner and run the "sro_client_sremu" file. Log on with your Accounts.
If you want to change the account go to C:\Desktop\Silkroad\srvb\account there you can change all Stats, Clothes and Weapons. and change the titel from "sro_client" to "sro_client_sremu" and packs it in your SRO Folder.

why do you need to start it in vb?? mine says i need a different editor to open the file whats up with that??? i have vb 2005 btw maybe thats the prob??

is there a way of making offline silkroad? like playing by yourself......create weapon, armor, everything u like high lvl char blalalablalala is it a way to make it like that? sorry am noob.

I have never yet actually seen a good Successful SilkRoad server.
Hope maybe someone makes it solid and reliable.

ECSRO is a good server. Have you not tried it? The exp isn't super high like most pservers, but it's still good.

This is just a temp file, To run it make sure you replace sro client and put the lines in host,

Ontopic too: I used to run a server for me and my mates, We managed to get pvp working and most of attack skills and sum forces, So we just had fun rlly. Until we got bored and most moved onto lotr online :)
