Shaiya is dead -.-

Ever since euro shaiya closed, shaiya has died, servers have been getting worse and worse, yeah there's been some awesome servers but non can compare to euro when it was ep3/4 if only it was still alive i could be able to play the game i once loved x.x now it's dead to me, i know i'm prob gonna get people telling me off,telling me to just change games or whatever but ehh, just letting that out :o

Shaiya is not dead, is dying but not because euro closes cause are really good pservers on, it is dying cause shaiya is not a new game at all and cant compete with the new maket of f2p mmos and when shaiya 2 come to market probably this shaiya will be shouted down

dude. shaiya is dead. no need to point out whats going on on the mmo market. its been dead since euro died. no servers are stable , gm's are corrupt , players cheat , bribery , perfunctory people in servers. and people with no life just play all day and become uber or people who have also no life and pays for servers :facepalm:

Any who , back in euro you could work hard for a day or two , most of the time like invest an hour into the game and you could become well equipped for good pvp. then sooner or later you get hooked up with good items and youre pretty much set. yes, the people who donated had a slight advantage, but since there was so many Pvper's you would have never noticed the difference. Really sad the fact that shaiya has died like this. I would kill to get how shaiya was back in 2008.

could't have said it better myself, and yeah maybe it is an old game.. but shaiya has the most unique pvp system.. no other game has one like ours.. and it is being wasted.. wasting the real reason why people come try shaiya.. cus i mean who wants to come to a game to grind? NO!, they come to test out the so called famous PVP system that we are putting to waste

The ONLY good thing about Euro was the number of players.. But think about this, at that time in Shaiya P-Server history, Where else could you go?

It's not just euro in general safe.. and trust me i killed raids solo aswell.. but the fact that.. many servers have gone off the path of what shaiya was really all about

Stop whining and actually do something then, make your server, make it the way you think a Shaiya Server should be, there are plenty of servers, Euro was epic, and yes, the path that this thread took (because you made it this way) is all about QQ Euro is down, QQ Euro was the best QQ QQ QQ....

Shaiya is already an "old" game, but we are still in it, trying to get it to be better, to innovate it, but what happens when someone works hard on adding complete new stuff to the game (mention, Creation)? Well, the response is "Why do you change a game that is already built up?, Why do you change the things that old players know -builts, skills, gears- when it has taken so long to get used to the game to like get it to be a complete new thing?...."

"Shaiya is dying...." Thats what i hear you say, but well, i play on a couple of servers, honestly i don't see that, because just earlier i got over 2k, maybe a 3k, kills on pvp between all the pvp i had on those servers. A game does not die by itself, for a game to "die" it is required that all the players get bored of it and just stop playing on it, it takes a server to be done just for donators, leaving non donators out of it and many other variables.

Yes, it is an old game; now you see (just to mention) Rift's PvP, gameplay, graphics and you might think "yeah, shaiya is far behind it" but well, you have to look at the year in which they were originally created, and measure the whole new "things" that now are available to add to a game engine against the ones that were available years ago...

You say that Shaiya is dead, i say, bring it back to life then, do something, don't just sit there QQing about it, if you want a change on something you are the first person that should do something to make it happen, if you just sit and whine about something, it wont help the situation, normally it will actually get it to become worse...

I wasn't really going to comment in here because many people say that "im always trolling" but when i see this kind of mentality, i have to say something....but i won't really add anything else in here unless it catches my attention.

What do you expect, Euro was by far not the 'God' of Shiaya, and to be honest Evolution was not too.

Look at it like this, Euro was the first shaiya server ever, the prices were lower then OS, and you could look epic, (look), in a day, so ya EVERYONE would want to play it.

Evo was the first private server that had good rates, good drops, FB, some custom stuff, and a item mall that KINDA did not matter, but still you needed to donate to get good...(OP hammers!), sure you could farm...but GL there.

Nothing was perfect, nothing ever will be.

if you really like Shaiya u wont say that at all :)

and about Euro idc really cuz we have alot of P-servers :)

There is a awsome Ep4 server up "Nightmare Shaiya" look it up and try it. but use the the direct dl cause i think the meauload is the real slow1. cant remember.

If you say it's dead why are you still following the Shaiya section of Epvpers? If it's dead why are you even posting about it? The answer is simple the game isn't dead. Why? Simply because people keep making servers for it. People keep changing it. So it's not even close to dead. I do agree there is only about a handful of servers out there that are worth even looking at right now. Doesn't mean Shaiya is dead though. Means the idea of a good private server is dying and only a select few still know how to make a good one. I'm not saying I'm one of those people but I'm trying to be :P
As John said if it's dying why don't you help change that instead of sitting here making a pointless thread about it to get attention.
I see a lot of people with good ideas here but no one really comes together and say hey lets make a really good server. Instead I see "QQ this server sucks" or "It's too hard and I don't want to play it". Instead of that why don't you actually go out and make your own server? Just takes time and effort.

Thank you for just pointing out the obvious and some people just need to look around there are to many but you can never change that

Well the only thing that make shaiya still alive is pserver cause OS is dead for some time, and i really that sonov shouldn't let aeria publish the game, was much better if sonov make a international server.
the true is that the player base of shaiya is falling. i mean tons of people left the game when it comes ep5 and if ep6 be released i bet that even more people will left the game.
And shadow whats the point of everyone make his own server???? Most of people dont have knowledge, time and resources to do it the only thing we can do is support the better pservers nothing more

forget the "perfect" server.. there are some servers open rite NOW that EAT Euro for breakfast..

are they populated? yes.. some of them are.. are thay as populated as Euro WAS in the hey day? NO No NO! None are.. so why is that? its because

TIMING IS EVERYTHING!

Stop speaking about a time that can NEVER be again.... most you ppl are just kids, yet you are pulling the "When i was a BOY" statement you loath so much from the elder ppl..
