[HELP] Character Load Error (For Brain.Exe ppl)

Hello everyboy,
Before someone writes, "use the search" i've already done it :P
I got a strange kind of problem that i've never met during my server making.

Situation:

Shaiya Folder (1)
Shaiya Folder (2)
Shaiya Folder (3)

Shaiya Folder (1) is the OS Shaiya folder
Shaiya Folder (2) is a P-Server Folder with the whole lvl 70 gears in the Data.Saf
Shaiya Folder (3) is a New P-Server Folder
I've tried to extract the gears from (2) and updated them in (3), it worked but when i start the Game and i choose the Server it gave me the "Char Load Error".
I knew that this error was due to the Missmatch of Item.Sdata and dbo.Items so i've used Castor's tool to get a sql file from the .SData and runned it. dbo and .Sdata should be the same now:rolleyes:
Well i still get the Char Load Error.

I Tought i made some kind of Mystake so i've used the game.exe from (3) in the (2) folder BUT surprise, when i try to run it i get back "Checking Server" and this cant happen cause they are up.
To be sure about it i've runned it from (3) and i connected, with "Char Load Error" ofc.

I was getting Mad so i've putted (3) game.exe in (1) the original Shaiya folder and i connected without problem BUT without lvl 70 gears ofc.

So now i would really like to know, if someone can help me because i'm getting mad with the Server.
I cant figure out why a Data.saf can make a game.exe to not connect and why i keep gettin the "Char Load Error" if dbo.Items and Items.SData are the same.


More infos:
I've tryed to Edit the Game.Exe from (2) and i get "Check Server" if u run it from (2) and Char load error if i run it from (3).

You kind of answered your own question here.
You say that when you use the game.exe in the OS folder it works yet without 70 gears.
Why not just add the 70 gears there instead of causing yourself more trouble trying to figure out why one doesn't work when you have one working already?
It's very easy to add things in with castors tool. Take the item.sdata with the 70 gears you want and delete everything else from that sdata besides what you want to keep. Then open the OS item.sdata and select import from the options. Import the item.sdata with the 70 gears, patch it into your database/client. There Fixed. =P

Folder (3) is already the OS one with the lvl 70 gears patch from folder (2) ;)

as i see u only copy the folder " Item " ?
actually i have this problem before and all i did is copy the folder "Entity" and the folder "3DO" and "DDS" from the "Item" folder
all of them from Korean client and it worked just fine :)
and i prefer to use this tool to show u DDS files

I've Copied the Whole "Item" folder with all the Sub-folders and the Whole "Character" folder with al the Sub-folders.

you dont have to copy the whole Item folder your item.SData have the weapons already ? if not just use ShStudio and create a new weapon and import the DDS file thats all :)
if u keep copying the whole thing its will just keep give you an error
and dont forget to give the states for the weapon and the new name if u want

I've tried to update the Char Folder only and to update the Item.SData only but i still can not connect ;)

The problem is not about the Weps but about the lvl 70 gears textures. Cause i cant log in once i update Them.

How can i get a char load error if i've extracted the Item.SData and used castor Tool to get the Item.sql file and runned it so db and client items are the same?

does your Char have a Item on that is not in the updated File or maybe a different Item ID code then it was with the other Item.sdata

How did you patch the sdata file?

If i try with a New account, so no items on the char, the Client disconnects right after i select the Side:)

1) Ectract and Modify the .SData
2) Make a patch with Shaiya Make
3) Update it From the Updater.

Ok ummm...
You are saying you patched the Item.sdata into the Character folder?
There's your issue right there. Character = Skills and textures for the character
Item is the folder where Item.sdata and the item textures go.
If that isn't the issue
Make sure everything is encrypted/decrypted correctly.
Make sure things are not double encrypted as well.

Lol No, i'm not explaining every single thing, i've said this 3d is for ppl that know what are doing.
I've updated the Textures in the Char folder and the Item.SData in the Item Folder come on..lol


And about the Crypt Decrypt, i tought it was the problem too. i've encrypted the item s.data more than one time, and during one of thee tryes i did not get the Char load Error but the client simply crashed.:)

I never asked you to explain every single thing. If you would read better you would know that.
