Hi.

I'm on a "short" budget and i really want to make an upgrade to my PC.

Here's what i currently got:
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 LE-1640
Motherboard: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

VideoCard: Palit GeForce 8400GS Super - 512Mb

I was "browsing" a website with some cheap components and after comparing i got to these two:

Processor: AMD AM2+/ AM3 Athlon II X2 255

Video card: SAPPHIRE SPH-EHD5750V1G

Would these two components work on my current motherboard? And if they do, how much performance will i lose since my motherboard is an older version - PCIE x16 and AM2/AM2+/AM3 hybrid sort of slot([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...])?

You'r replies would be of great help!

Hi,

I think the Graphiccard will may produce issues because it is a PCIe 2.1 card and you just have a PCIe Slot.
