SRO RUNNING PROBLEMs WITH VISTA

Recently, i had just bought a new comp running on vista home basic. Specs as follows : 3 GB ram, 350 gb hard disk. intel pentinum core 2 dual, graphics ; nvdia GS 8800.

However, it seemed that i cant run SRO smoothly. initially i cant stay on the game for more than 10 mins as it always Dc due to "Visual C++ library runtime error". I had managed to solve the problem. I had unmarked the affinity and now i can get it running for at least few hours w/o DC.

But, my game lags so much. Once every minute or so... :( everything is well on my other comp which is running on win XP2.

ANYone out there can hellp me solve this??? Ive heard that SRO runn Sux in Windows Vista.

Dude I have this same problem..lol..someone help please..Also all the guild and union emblem seems to be blink white.

II: Runtime Visual C Error
- Download Microsoft Directx 9.0c to the latest version.
- Download Microsoft SDK to the latest version.
- Make sure you unzip the program to it’s own individual folder for install.

right click silkroad go to run as administrator? not sure idk

windows update might be running in the background that's might be causing silkroad to lag. :)

my friends have toubles with vista to install sro but finaly its instaled XD

try to update the graph drivers.. might work o,o

Why don't you reinstall to xp sp3?
