Our server had a patch recently where certain b/cs got shortened, like the rank 8 one so now its just "x has just reached Rank 8!"
now for some reason on my client i keep getting weird ones tht r like

also that players name was dark red, so maybe there was a color code in the name? If so, how is that possible when ^ is not a valid symbol in char creation?
P.S. I know dark red is PK red but im pretty sure that player hadnt already pkd like 12 white names... maybe she did i dunno... still dont get what the symbols are at the end of the name, and why only me and a few other people can see them
