N00b botter!

Hey people.

I'm kinda new to botting, and even tho that I have been playing SRO for a while, I never had a char in high level, it got too tedious, and thats why I have returned to SRO equipped with a bot.

My botting is a bit slow, be cause I have no high-level char which can power level me, and I expected that it will take me some time to reach a good level.

I have now reached lvl 58 in 1-2 months of botting (not 24/7), and it feels like i have hit a wall. When i look at my iBot statistics, im getting 0.039 exp/min, which seems too little?

I am a pure str fire/light glaive, so i can tank quite well.

What level gap should i go for on the mobs? Some say that i should go for a few lvls lower, others for a few lvls higher. Drop rate is more or less not important, as im not lacking gold atm.

I got a 4 lvl gap on my mastery lvl, and im currently killing yeti's and evil yeti's.

Any advice would be great, both for my current level, and for general leveling.

Believe me, i know how that feels... Well one thing i can tell you, if you are pure str, go to mobs weeker than you, 3 or 4 lvls min. Only go to strong if you have like full SOS gear and so. If you go to stronger you get good xp, but you take forever to kill a mob, if you go to weekers, you get low xp, but you kill fast. So try to find a spot/mobs where you kill fast and get average xp.

Well generally, you should go for good spawn + killing mobs in 2-3 skills. I'd tell you go penon warriors, but yetis have good spawn either if you kill them fast. I always recommended low lvl farming, farming as much as possible and going high in 0gap. Well you WILL have low exp if you want that 4 gap, but its really up to you, what do you sacrifice for better lvling.:) Anyway, if it sucks then it sucks, you'll go on better later if you have lvled over that few lvls, which are a bit slower for you.

Ps.: If you have plenty of gold, go in taxies ^^ Thats the fastest way. Prefer niya or wing(78-80) taxies.
