you mean make slots in capes so you can lapis them.
No you cant.
And change database not only, the game.exe and ps_game.exe also!

No idea how the guy above me got "Lapis" out of "Rec Runing". Heh

You can't actually put the capes into the NPC to be recreated. I don't know why, but if I had a guess, I'd say there is a limit on the game.exe or ps_game.exe (or heck, maybe both!) that only allows certain Types (the type column of your Items.SData/Items table) to be inserted into the slot. Seeing as how ps_game.exe reads items based on their type, I'd say that's likely. (Though I have no evidence!)

If you wanted that, you'd have to find the limitation in either of the .exe's and nullify it.

Other than that, you can make capes gain orange stats, by setting both the "ReqWis" column and "Server" column to something greater than 0 (Server determines how many stats you can get on an item | ReqWis determines how much those stats can be)
Meaning, if they drop, they'll have orange stats, or if they're created, they'll have orange stats, they just can't be rerolled.

Ah but Tyler there is a server that allows the capes to be rec runed(I think...at least it is in the sdata )
The Korean client has its 68 capes with default orange stats. So that means it is possible to rec rune them. Just the question is how to get them into the NPC.
Mounts can be put into the NPC and given slots. Yet the lapis won't link and if you link through the database it has no effect. Which again back to Tyler's post might be a limitation o.O
I'm sure in time it will be figured out though
(I'm learning Olly! Yay! xD)

The 'server' field simply needs to be 3+ to support recreation (some capes have 0 as default values).

Edit: Tnelis already gave the info btw.

He also stated that it's not possible to "recreate" them (meaning create a new cape with 3 identical (but stats) capes (with the "other" prof. blacksmith) if I got his point).
I never check that but I'm agree that a static check against item's type is very likely.

if understood proper, make server column read 3 and above to enable rec rune on item?

i try this but no work. will try server restart instead /reitem and try again

No what they meant was if u change that field to 3 when u make new capes they can come with orange stats but that still dosn't allow for u to recreate them it just gives them orange stats when new capes r created

incorrect, setting server to 3 will allow to regenerate up to 3 random stats using recreation runes.
(for some items - including capes - 'server' is the number of stats that will be randomly settled during creation or when using rec. runes; for others it's actually a 'server version' indicator).

(still it does not allow to combine (w/o rec. rune) 3 identical (but stats) capes to recreate a new one with new stats - for that wasn't your last question)
