the 1st pic shows high downspeed because i was downloading a torrent... solved...
now when i open GG itself and no other programs..
as you can see above.. up and downspeed are both 0.00

now is that a net problem,GC, or my laptop?

ram:3gb
gpu:nvidia 8200m G
processor:AMD turion x2 72 2.1ghz
directX10

BTW... i never encounter problems like this or some sort of loading problems with my rig until this...

Wait until it loads. your computer may be slow.

@mr naruto- restarted her many times... same result
@mr taec -i've been playing GC for 2 years with my laptop...
wait whats UMT?
06/29/2011 15:17 Taec#5
i am not sure whats UMT...

Maybe close all your other programs & run GC itself only, it might speed up the loading process.

@existinglady

Whats your RAM?
07/02/2011 11:22 Rieve#10

@TS:
I had a friend who encountered the same problem.

It is mostly due to insufficient pagefile/memory.
Windows vista apparently has some trouble handling memory allocation/management and stuff.
It could either be because there are way too many applications running all at the same time (which hogs memory) or, the frequent explorer.exe freezing/crash which is more commonly encountered in windows vista.

You should switch to either Windows 7 or Windows XP since those are the more "stable" options. Or, if you don't want to change your OS, upgrade your RAM. Windows Vista hogs a lot of RAM unlike those two I mentioned so you should at least need about 4GB..

Its not actually an error..
Its just a White Screen of Death! [WSoD]
Its like a lag or sumthing that disables a certain thingy on GC to load that not fast >:D

Just burn the important ones on a disc then, or upload them in an online storage.

Or you could also use partition magic to make a seperate backup partition where you can store the files while the other partition gets formatted and installed.

Heh. Lucky for me, I got a 1.7 in my programming subject. the rest were averaging in 2 something more or less... hahaha. My hard work finally paid off.
