Perfect vac line? =]

Hello again,

I am just looking for a line in WinHex so that all the mobs follow you and don't leave you. I done some experimenting and the hunters follow me, just not the melee attacking monsters.

Has anyone figured it out how to make it so that they follow you and stay with you without running off?

Aaron explain what you are asking more in depth please and can try to give you an answer are you asking if there is more then one section per monster to get them to follow you? If thats what you mean as far as I'm aware for the section that lets you vac thats the only section as for changing monster attributes such as the name, level, walk/runspeed, AIKEY there is more then one section.

CellRange_Melle is not for Vac it is actually for the range of how far a monster can hit you from.

No, what im asking is when you enter the line in winhex to make them follow you.

I want to know where to put the 9's becuase when I do it they just run away from me...

If you change it to a certain number you will notice the melee monsters won't run off you like crazy bulls anymore.

The thing about that is you set it to 0 and yes they just run back and forth over you I know this but hes asking what to change to make vac in other words what to change to make more then 3 mobs follow you, however... This I'm not gonna release it has been released and the tutorial can be found by searching for 2 words. Vac, winhex

You ask for one thing here

And a completely different thing here, you don't put 9s to make the mobs not run off you.

I have given you keywords you can search for within data.pak for this. You have been givin multiple hints and yet your still not clearly defining what your asking for.

Before telling me thats not what your looking for, please make sure you know what you want because I have told you hints on both vaccing and non aggro hack, aswell as what makes them run to you without making them run away again... as well as others have too you have more then enough info from this thread and others to get this working now its time for YOU to do some of your own work + experimentation. Please just try. I know you can do it with what you have here.

Well, I think this is what he's trying to say:

For example, in Nunvice there are Sasquatches (melee) and Skeleton Knights (range). Putting vac aside, you change the AI of both of these monsters to 3 and change the CellRange_Range to 0 for the Skeleton Knights, so that they both follow you when they see you, all while not attacking. But, when they start following you, the Skeleton Knights run back and forth on you just fine. But, the Sasquatches sometimes just run right past you and sometimes don't come back. Vac makes them come back, but this might become a hassle with AoEs and a time limit. I know this happens for a fact, because it happens all the time to me in Nunvice.

My reasoning for this is because of the value "3" for the AI Key. By keeping a ranged unit at 3, it constantly tries to attack you with its range attack (that has been canceled out). However, melee units don't have a range attack, and thus prob can only run past. Weird thing is that melee units don't always follow this pattern in my experience; only sometimes.
