Attention: SG making false claims on pservers!

Chris Chia (SEO of TEC-Interactive) is now proceeding to make false infringement claims on pservers who he feels are personally threatening his already horrible player count. If you have many players from the SG server joining your server and quitting SG, Chris Chia will complain to your website host that you are engaging in an infringement of copyright... even when you do not have any Metin2 logos or phrases or anything that could be considered copyright infringement.

We are using the hen script and a design totally created by us, and he has filed a complaint with our hosting service requesting our PERSONAL INFORMATION, and attempting (but failing) to force the host to demand us to remove the website within 24-48 hours. I have proven to the host that the site does not infringe any copyright laws, but I am sure that he will now try more methods to shut down my server because he is jealous that he has no players...even when he is ILLEGALY BYPASSING the IP BLOCK he is supposed to have by having a proxy scripted into his client by nico_w.

He does not care if your server has a small player count, as long as he feels that it's causing his already under-populated server to become even less populated.

You have been warned. If you have a website and happen to also have a private server (even if it's not on the same host), he will contact your webhost and try to get your personal information...

Anything that makes Chris Chia is justified in this case ..

Theoretisch ein Brief/Mail das sagt das sie dem Hoster geschrieben haben das bei Ihnen ein Ilegaler Mt2 server läuft und den besitzer aufzufordern den Server zu schliessen.

So in der Art, nochmal Zusammengefasst:

- SG schreibt Brief Mail @ Server Hoster
- Server Hoster @ Server Mieter
- Drinne steht Server schliessen oder ...

Wie mans kennt :'(

Because I took all of SG players to my server.. they decided to come here..

it's a personal thing.. Low amount of players in my server, but more than SG... and the quality of server was much better than many :P

nevertheless i think they will send abuses to Ws

Yea, Gameforge is lazy in this cause, but it was nice for us. I hope this is only one time that TecInteractive is doing this and it won´t be more. But we will see.
