Requesting for Multiclient Tutorial

As, the title suggests, can some pros out there share with us the way to make multiclients for new patches. The old "ënglish" edition no longer works.

If possible, please
1. provide a detailed guide with the logics behind the modification
2. explain a bit on the logics before the old method.

Thanks to whoever contributing to either of the above requests

get hex workshop and then compair the multi and the original and see what they changed

Yeah i tried that on ultra compare. Seems that it doesn't generate any positive results.

whats ultra compair?a hex editor?

ill loke at it real fast and see what i can find

Yeah, UltraEdit is a really cool hex editor, imo just as good if not better than hexworkshop. I used to have both, but i choose ultraedit. Ultra compare is another program made by the same company, it's function is pretty much illuminated by it's name

any chance you got the original for patch 5020?
cus thats the multi im trying to compair and the size dont match:(

Please check my previous post again. Patch 5018 updated conquer.exe and 5019,5020 didn't update the exe since.

well the file size of the original is 1.11 and somone posted a multi that changed 0x00102204 offset 1057296 to the letter "u" instead of "i" but that thread said it dont work.and the multi posted by poison the file size is 1.31 so im realy gona have to see wtf he did to add .2 to the file

::EDIT:: seems hy hexeditor gets buggy trying to scan posions multi???it wont scan it ill look into it a little more

Thanks for your effort. i saw the thread in hack/tool section, it says change English to english, and it WORKED wonders.

I kept trying to search for english(without match case) and it always give me same results which frustrated me, lmao.



Now my only question is, what is the logic behind editing the letter/case

i did use a hex editor last time. but my friend delete it in my PC. i want that olod hex editor to be back. i want to edit my own multi client to be sure in that i theres no hacking.

The 'English' to 'english' still works for me, although i haven't downloaded any of the newest patches.
