Finding chars position in SRO

hi,
is there any way to find my friends position in silkroad when hes afk? Like where is he actually grinding.

Run around the map!

Nah theres no way you can find someone that's not in your party or guild ( < Just map pos. ).

The other really good way is if you are both in the same academy, but that would depend on levels etc, but could be a useful way to keep each other in contact in that way.
