Non-Hamachi Server

Hello. ^^

I'm new here and got a problem. I hope you can help me. ;)
English isn't my mother language, but I hope you can understand me well.

I got a privat server and can connect on it. Other persons can also connect on it, but just with Hamachi.
Is there ANY chance to change that? A hamachi server is .... urgh. <.<
I already saw some guides here, but the most of them don't work, uploads are down or they are not for noobies like me. xD

Would be REALLY kind, if someone could help me with a step by step guide or something like that. :/

Well you could forward the needed ports. You can buy a VPS and host your server on there.

I won't buy a server, before I didn't have a "test phase". :/

I already did the stuff with the ports, thats why I can connect on it, but I have no clue how I can "open" them ...
Could you explain me how it work, please? ^^

You need to set up your router so that it forwards connections to your computer when they try to use a certain port (conquer ports)
