its not a zip archive the dat files are actly encrypted data files so joining the files as an achive wont work.
and using a dat archiver like hjsplit? wont work ether right formate wrong structure

do you mean all these data.001, data.002, etc... files?

ive played with them too, some time ago... hard to decode as ive noticed
but i could extract some images out from them (like the numbers you see when u get hit...)
most of them are "TrueVision X-Files" or in format DXF
a bit too hard for me were the 3D-Models... surely they must be there anywhere, in this case i bet they are in X-File format (Meshes)

tried it with Borland Delphi Pascal and in PHP, but i lost focus on it, was a waste of time, so i didnt put any more effort in it ^^

ya its 3d mesh models u can tell when u zoom in and can see the mesh fold in on its self if angled just right in world.
course almost all mmorgs use Collision mesh, shaders so that's a certainty
but just like every other file in the client there packed if not encrypted or both
for that to even be functional u would need to decrypt them first

ive such a script to decrypt it, not all things, but images, written in php, only too bad i cant find it anymore, since last system restore :(

but its very easy... read from top to bottom of file where each pixel is made of a RGBA array.. ok its a bit complicated to explain it here... ^_^
