make socks

hi guys, yesterday i made a 85 xbow +7
now i need to socket it but i failed
i used +18% and 5 gems but all time fail, the xbow got 2 socks now and i hav no more money^^.
my question : anyone know tips/tricks to make socks w/o fail?

go a serverno lags and where no ppll turnarmor everthing off too stash just the gems and theweapon + talismanin inventory set graphic everything down
shut down the mp3 player of 2moons

this works nice , i tried and i made 3 sockets to a divine weapon one after other ( lvl 30 weap) but still...

lvl 30 wep is easy too make sockets in ( and cheap ) so that doesnt prove annything ... test it with lvl 72+++ weapons :p

socketing is pretty strange...

I socketed my 115 +7 xbow with no amulet and total spent was only 12-15mil...:D

Then i tried socketing my 115 bow and i failed every other time...so i ended up selling that evil shit to merchant:mad:

Then I socket a 112 mage armor and 110 mage helmet, all striaght in a row without fail...:D no amulet ether

I feel like some items are not meant to be socketed and some are =T :confused:

O yea, WRONG SECTION!!!!

ya I noticed same thing. I don't think the amulet even helps at all. Failed a lot with amulet and I think I passed more without it.

Make sockets if u really have enough cash to spare...If not just find a slotted weapon from the player shops

You guys may think im dumb...but use high lvl medials....seems to work really well for me...might still fail a couple times, however I get a success most of the time (this was done on a 115 weapon and succeeded straight threw for me)

how high lvl the medials are? +25 ? +29 ?

I've used +25 medials many times, it's all the same crap... A gem is a gem
