Error : Invalid Client Program will be terminated plz help

When i have install silkroad and the luncher starts it comes up and error invalid client, program will be terminated. what is wrong plz answer :)

yup i already made a thread about that... :(. ive tried to uninstall and reinstall but i wasnt sucessful since now i have to use the manual patcher for v.1.43 and it doesnt work... wdf is wrong with joymax ? :confused:

I got an advice for yea try disabling the windows xp/vista firewall .. worked for me :D

You must wait until the install button appear or an error. This process can take anywhere from 1-10 minutes depending on your PC specs.

- Cannot install the game after Europe Update -
Before you install the game, make sure you have an internet connection.

If you are using Windows XP and have a Firewall active, disable your firewall during installation. Or of you are using Zonealarm or McAfee etc etc just grant the setup access to the internet.

If you are using Windows Vista, right click on the setup and select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR and press ALLOW.

- Silkroad has encountered a problem and needs to close -
If you "Encounter a problem and Silkroad needs to close" make sure you have at least 5GB hard disk space available on your C drive.

this error is no was for me to but i have fixed it with some help :))
1.go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc (default)
2.open file called Host chose notepad to open with...:)
3.and paste these 2 ip's.
121.128.133.81 gwgt1.joymax.com
121.128.133.81 gwgt2.joymax.com
that helped for me...and in the end everything should look loke that.

you just opened a 5yr old topic. no issues on my side so far. reinstall your windows.

If you have still the packed version, extract the Silkroad.exe and sro_client.exe to your sro folder and try again. As well watch that your windows defender or antivirus is not destroying or blocking anything.
If you don't have the packed version, download the client again and do as I explained.
