Need Help with where to start learningC#...etc

how are you doing every body?
First alot of ppl will just close the thread with out helping after reading the next lines and some may flame me:(anyway

Well I am Egyptian ,and i donot Care what do u think about us not all of us are bad ,leachers, and Dumpmaybe u have just met some of the bad Egyptian side ,i know most of ppl u met are just leachers i hate that too but u cannot change what they are :mad:

anyway if u want to help me that will be great ,if u donot please donot flame like saying****egys...and so on cause this hearts really:(:(:(we all are humans ,+Egys aren`t so bad

2nd thing if u still reading this ill be so gartefull and u proved that u are a really good person

i just want to learn C# ....or i mean to be able to work with my hands,what will i gain with leaching,taking some one else work and i donot know what does it even do or work ,its totaly useless
so can u guys give me some hints what do i need to learn,where to start,if u have some websites,lessons and Guides that will be extreme good

You wants to learn.
You can setup a proper thread with font colors etc. However it's kinda random, but that's another story.

it's great that i finaly found one of my country wants to learn :) , i recommend you to check this link [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] so you can learn the very basics stuff about C# , then start to check anyold source that has been made in C# which will let you understand how is everything going there , once you face a prob. and you can't solve it you can ask the forum here and they will help you :), good luck mate

BTW u are good with TQ Binaries but its not hard as c# good luck with ur project, like ur Epic source but not the best:P jking but u can make abetter one

i quieted TQbin. longtime ago , and am still learning too so am not that good yet :) , yeah the swapper :D it's workin perefect though xD , ofcours they all needed you will be using them all , when i started to learn i used to skip some of the lessons which made creating a source kinda hard to me , so yeah dont skip any that would be cool for you , also i only know the "object oriented programming" of C# :D , i can only code in C++ so i wont be able to help you that much , but the forum here will DO!

EDIT: i recommend you to work with 4271/5017 1st then after that you can upgrade it , it's an advice which "UnknownOne" said to me :)

Although I am still learning, I started by C# Tutorial Videos by AppDev; They certainly helped. I also read Hybrids tutorials, and watch his videos he posted, they also helped. One more thing that helped was a series of youtube videos of C# tutorials; If you want the youtube name, it's 'lecturesnippets'. Goodluck

Afaik, I believe most 5017 source's were in 2008. Some may be compatible with 2010, although I've had no luck converting them. And remember, you may want to learn, but until you dedicate yourself, you won't. If you want to succeed, don't let boredom overcome you

It's really nice to see that the community hasn't completely deteriorated to shit; new projects arising and people willing to learn.

@OP: A piece of advice rather than links to tuts and such (Google ftw), don't raise your hopes up too high at the beginning, take it nice and easy, baby steps.

And a general note @everyone: Stop reinventing the wheel, ONLY extend what is already there, or if you feel that it's not scalable, improve it!

It's nice to see everyone trying to write their "custom everything" but one can never be the jack of all trades, it's the reason why this community didn't make it yet to where other MMORPG communities did, it's all about who's got the longest e-peen. A couple of people tried getting this community back on its feet (Korvacs' [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] is one example) and nobody moved a finger to help them (I'm guilty as well, but mainly because of inactivity).

Now that InfamousNoone released Project Manifest which IMO is one of the best along with Korvacs' Fusion Origins (although a bit overkill because of the number of servers incorporated in the project), I'd really like to see someone start a thread for improving and extending these projects, there is room for huge improvements in both projects which might lead to a "standardized" community-made server, something that this community can be proud of.
