go for autoIT if u have some sort of programming experience, its similar to C language
go for autohotkey if its ur first time touching programming, because the syntax is for NOOBS. which i am using right now

autoIT <=> autohotkey (everything except syntax)

Autoit. I reacon it is easier to learn in AutoIt because of the help files and because of the script editor, it gives you the options instead of having to type out the whole string like in AHK.

Even though AHK comes with a GUI creator, KODA is one for autoit, so they are around the same when it comes to GUI Creating.

Just putting out a few points :p

but look in this page editors section

there are more than 20+ editors just for AHK

doesnt matter which one u use
once u use it, then u will get used to it

I suppose so :p

I had never really tried looking for an AHK Script editor, it never came with one like AutoIt does.

I tried doing it in notepad...thats y i found it so hard..HAHA

Same reason I chose AutoIt. It will give you a visual confirmations and options for what you type.
