Does that method still work for anyone else?
It worked for me before this last patch, and now s4 seems to recognize that it's in a V.Machine.

It used to work for me. Until I uninstalled everything because it took like 12GB of my computer. Now I can't get it to work anymore :\ I tried Win7 and WinXP and nothing.
I get the "this cannot be run under virtual machine" even though I did input the code..

But that's just me...

Edit: I think this method will be crucial for the sumer, for some reason I think there will be a farming event lol

No, S4 can´t run on VM Workstation anymore.

It´s either fixxed somehow or there´s a bug with S4 and VM Workstation.

So, until someone actually finds out how does it detect VMWare now it seems like we're pretty much doomed

Maybe using VMware 6 still works :\

I tried with 6.5, didn't work.

Use a real Multiclient. You can make it with OllyDbg and with Androxx`s Tutorial :D
