somethin wrong with the database

hello sorry to bother but i recently joined the forum and I wanted to see if u guys could help me with this problem that i had while creating a server. Here is what happens after i run the sql 2005 using windows 7.

Did you start the Server as Administrator ?

yes i did. it says to check the book tools on How to View SQL Server 2005 Setup Log Files" and "Starting SQL Server Manually."The error is (2) The system cannot find the file specified.Error Number : 29503

damn 2005. try removing your antivirus if you have norton. if not i think you have an old sql that is messing up. i know alot have this problem and need to complete reinstall your windows. or just try sql 2008 REMEMBER TO USE R2

not sql2008 use sql2008r2 express thaty are free too
