Please Private server

Could someone help me with this??
The ones who have an private server,they give only ip i dont know what do do with it or what program i use for it? But how can i play in an private server???

uhm what should i type down? how can i connect serrver??? or how can sexmens20 connect to a server? or sinx wont tell me how to connect a server i mean WTF?
