i need help

i dont know why...when i edit config,shell, and more.when i try log in it say server down but when i lokk at NPC.exe account.exe it say ok....pleasss tell me what my promblem

Does your oem.dat matches your server config file`s?
Like example: "The name of your server?"

yes account exe it ok and NPC 2 all ok...and when i try log in it say server down

Have you made sure that you have forwarded the correct ports, if using the server locally? Also if you post your config files we can look at them to see if there are any issues that we can see. You should also post your shell.dat in a screenshot while opened in a hex editor.

I'm not sure, but when I use the TEST server it runs smoothly, and when I edit the config, shell, oem, to megubag server name ... after all that, I tried it and he said ok,,,, and when I log in it says server down

Ok, so it errors after you edit the files. What do you edit the shell.dat with?

so after he edited the name... did he also edited it into oem.dat?

That would be at least one of your problems then. You can't edit the shell.dat with notepad. You need to use either a hex editor or the shell.dat editor posted. I've included one. Just put this in your GameServer folder, and open the ProShell.exe modify the areas needed, and hit the button. Then open your server files again and see if it works.

Once you use that program to edit the shell.dat, you will open your server files and see if you can log in. If it works, then you should be finished and be able to play your server.

what would i chage at shell.dat???
