Town Portal Error

I am having problems with the town portals... Simply put, they don't work at all.
They show the little animation when you click them, but stay in the invo, and you stay where you're at.

Any ideas why or how to fix it?

If you use them on a PM acct, can you screenshot what the actions show please.

It shows nothing: no text, no errors, just a flash like it was used, with no change.
I have done it on a regular and GM account.

regular and GM accounts won`t let you read the param
make pm char and use the townportal on it and then u will be able to see it
